If you saw my last posting you may remember I poked a little fun at the deer blind for sale in Texas at the local store. Low and behold, I found one right here in Arizona. I spotted it on our day trip to Jerome, a mining town. Bragging isn't my thing but ours is a little bigger. It still needs the camouflage material but I did recognize it. I learn fast! Wait....What Larry?...He's always always talking when I'm typing!...What? You called it a hoisting frame for the mine? You must be wrong. Well yes, we were in a mining town. Ohhhh, that bare rock is where they were mining......
But just look at it. It could be a deer blind! Yes sir, those rocks are beautiful!
Jerome is a fun town built on the side of a mountain at 5000 Ft high. The houses cling to the mountain and the streets wind around switchback style. So many of the houses have been converted to arts and crafts stores and restaurants. You can shop, have lunch and view the valley below. I found fun weeds to photograph and Larry was surrounded by rocks. I'm sure his photos of the day will fun to view.
